EWSD Competition Teams
Local AND Travel Teams
EWSD offers two types of companies for those students interested in competing. The “local” competition squads attend various competitions near Sevierville, TN such as Knoxville and Gatlinburg. Our “travel” squads require a higher time commitment and travel to both the local and out of town competitions.
Our company members have performed at Disney World, Six Flags, Nassau, and the Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship in addition to various local performances and benefits. They have won numerous overall high scores both locally and nationally!

Local Teams:
Tiny Tots, Minis, Juniors, Seniors
Travel Teams:
Mini Travel, Petite Travel, Preteen Travel, Teen Travel, Senior Travel
Auditions are held every year in May.
Team ages/names alter from year to year.
Must be 5 years old to compete
Congratulations Nariah Mullins!
Nariah, who was sponsored by the Great Smoky Mountain Dance Theatre, competed in the Distinguished Young Woman Scholarship Program where she was crowned Distinguished Young Woman of Tennessee 2024! She was the overall Talent, Fitness, Interview, and Self Expression winner. She also received scholarships to 27 different colleges with full tuition to select colleges. Congratulations Nariah!
